terms of service
By scheduling a service with Caribou Cleaners, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
scheduling and cancellations
Subscription Cleaning Services are recurring at the same address, on the same day of the week, at each appointment. The day and time the service is set for recurring appointments may be adjusted upon agreement by both parties.

Expect your housecleaning team to arrive within 30 minutes of the scheduled appointment time. You will be contacted as soon as possible in the event of any greater delay for purpose of notification, or to reschedule as necessary. Caribou Cleaners does not guarantee arrival times due to weather conditions, road conditions, schedule changes, or unforeseen circumstances. You will receive a text message reminder the day before your scheduled service with the date and approximate/ expected arrival time.

A minimum of 48 hours notice is required if either a singular service date is to be cancelled or rescheduled, or if a permanent change is requested. All cancelations must be made through the office / owner of the company by calling (907) 631-1368.

While Caribou Cleaners will attempt to accommodate client requests for a preferred schedule, we cannot guarantee availability on specific days, dates, or times. A rescheduled service date must occur within a week of the original service date. If the service provider offers a reasonable alternate date and the client declines, this will count as a service cancelled by the client. Service fees may apply per the terms of the subscription.

Caribou Cleaners well send email and/or text message reminders 48 hours before each service appointment. There is no need to confirm the appointment if no changes to the schedule are required.

If the service provider arrives on site and cannot gain access to the property to provide the service at the scheduled time, and the minimum 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule has not been provided, this will be considered a cancellation without notice. The client will pay the price of the cleaning they have booked.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the driveway and entrance to the service location are clear and accessible, free of snow, ice, or debris, at the time of the scheduled service. If the property is not safely accessible the service will be cancelled and cancellation policies as described will apply.

If the service provider must cancel a service date, and cannot offer an alternate appointment within the week, the client will not pay for that service date.

The client may end the subscription service early by providing a minimum of 48 hours’ notice before the next cleaning date.
Services may resume by starting a new subscription service. However, if more than 30 days have elapsed since the last cleaning date, the first service date of the new subscription will be billed at the Deep Cleaning/ One-Time Service rate of $75 per labor hour.

If subscription services lapse, Caribou Cleaners cannot guarantee that the same day and time of service that was previously reserved will be available upon resuming service with a new subscription.
Vacations and Holidays
Caribou Cleaners business office is closed on New Year's Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. If your regularly scheduled service lands on one of these days, your service for that day may be cancelled or rescheduled. You will be notified ahead of time to confirm the change to the schedule. If you have not requested or been notified of a change, expect the service schedule to continue as usual.

Response Times
You may expect a response to your call within 24 hours. If you leave a message during an evening, weekend, or holiday, you may expect a response on the next business day.
