Scheduling and Cancellations
Caribou Cleaners does not guarantee arrival times, due to weather, road conditions, schedule changes, and unforeseen circumstances. You will receive a text message reminder the day before your housecleaning with the date and approximate/expected arrival time. Except in the case of emergencies or extreme, unexpected delays, your housecleaner will arrive within 30 minutes of the indicated appointment time. You will be contacted as soon as possible in the event of any greater delay for purpose of notification, or to reschedule as necessary.
At least 24 hours notice is requested in the event of cancellations. All cancellations must be made through the office/ owner of the company by calling (907) 631-1368.
Less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the price per cleaning for your home. Fee may be waived in the event of illness or emergency. Repeated cancellations without proper notice may cause us to drop you as a client. If your housecleaner arrives at your home for a housecleaning appointment, and cannot get in and cannot reach you, that will be considered a cancellation without proper notice.
Vacations and Holidays
Caribou Cleaners business office is closed on New Years day, Presidents day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas day. If your regular cleaning lands on one of these days, your service for that day may be cancelled or rescheduled. You will be notified ahead of time to confirm the change to the schedule.
Response Times
You may expect a response to your call within 24 hours. If you leave a message during an evening, weekend, or holiday, you may expect a response on the next business day.
