Reasonable Expectations

Please understand that while Caribou Cleaners provides professional level service, your house cleaner is not a miracle worker. Your house cleaner cannot correct damage that is already done to some surfaces. Other spaces may take a couple of cleanings to look their very best. In cases of extremely cluttered areas or surfaces your house cleaner reserves the right to skip over those areas in order to avoid damaging items or avoid potential injury.

Your house cleaner may not complete all tasks on your list of items to be done on a particular service date, if out of time per the pre-negotiated rate to be paid.

Every effort is made to work safely and cautiously and Caribou Cleaners cannot assume liability for injury to others. Please ensure that you, your children and pets remain out of the rooms that we are cleaning in order to prevent safety hazards (contact with cleaning products, tripping over buckets, caddies, vacuum cords, etc.).

Wear and Tear
The longer we live in our homes, the more wear and tear builds up in it. Baseboards, bottom of showers and tubs, mold/mildew, excessive water spots and soap scum on glass shower doors, worn flooring, grout, window tracks, etc. are all areas where wear and tear will impact results. These areas may take more than one cleaning to improve in appearance or may not come clean at all.

Distractions
Your house cleaner needs to be able to work freely and without distractions. Excessive talking (beyond cleaning instructions) prevents your house cleaner from being 100% focused. Every effort is made to work safely and cautiously, but Caribou Cleaners cannot assume liability for the safety of others while cleaning your home. This includes children and pets. Be advised that if your house cleaner is subject to distractions that affect their ability to work in our normal fashion or speed, Caribou Cleaners reserves the right to charge for extra time spent in the home.

Respectful Communication
Your house cleaner will communicate with you in a respectful and professional manner, and will expect the same in return. Caribou Cleaners reserves the right to refuse service in the event that clients or others in their home are treating the house cleaner poorly by speaking to them rudely or in a demeaning way. Your house cleaner will work to accommodate client requests to the best of their ability, so long as the request is within the scope of service per Caribou Cleaners policies. Caribou Cleaners reserves the right to decline a client request, and to work in a positive environment with minimal distractions.
