If your home has a security system, please discuss with your housecleaner how you want to handle it.
Caribou Cleaners policy is to lock the door while we are cleaning and to not allow access to unknown persons. Please do not rely on Caribou Cleaners to let in workmen during the time your housecleaner will be working at your home.
Clients may provide a key to their home. Keys will have no names or street addresses attached to them. All keys are immediately returned upon cessation of service.
Clients may provide a code for a keypad. Caribou Cleaners will protect this information and ensure it is kept away from other identifying information, such as a name or address, and not shared with any unauthorized person.
If you decide not to issue a key to us and no one will be home during the cleaning, you may choose to leave a door unlocked or place a spare key in a secured place for us to gain access to your home. In this case, you release Caribou Cleaners of any liability that may arise from damages or theft to your home as it cannot be guaranteed that we are the only ones who will have access to your home that day.
