A free estimate will be provided upon meeting with you and doing a walk through at your home.

Cost Per Cleaning
The cost per cleaning varies from home to home, depending on the size of the home, how much deep cleaning needs to be done, and what the client is requesting. Our prices are competitive but fair, and comparable to other cleaning services of similar quality in both Anchorage and the Matsu Valley.

Deep Cleaning, Cleanout, and One-Time Cleaning Services are billed at an hourly rate and may be spread over more than one service date depending on the size of the job.

Clients may request focus on priority areas, while they complete other parts of the cleaning themselves. In the case of recurring cleanings, your housecleaner may alternate tasks per each cleaning, or complete some deep cleaning tasks over multiple cleanings.

Examples provided in the price chart below do not represent every home or situation. Please schedule a walk through for an appropriate estimate.

Minimum per Cleaning
There is a $100 minimum per cleaning for recurring housecleaning services.

Recurring Housecleaning Services:
Bi-weekly Service, up to 3.5 labor hours: $150 per cleaning (smaller homes, homes not requesting full service)
Bi-weekly Service, up to 4.5 labor hours: $200 per cleaning (example: 1-2 bedroom, 1 or 1.5 bath home)
Bi-weekly Service, up to 5.5 labor hours: $250 per cleaning (example: 2-3 bedroom, 1 or 2 bath home)
Bi-weekly Service, up to 6.5 labor hours: $300 per cleaning (example: 3-4 bedroom, 2 or 2.5 bath home)

Once Per Month Service, up to 6.5 labor hours:
$300 per cleaning (limited availability)

Weekly Service:

Please Note:
The price scale for Recurring Housecleaning Services is based on $50 per labor hour, with up to 0.5 labor hours provided at no cost per cleaning if necessary for routine upkeep of the home.

There is a payment processing fee of $0.49 + 3.49% per cleaning in the event of online payment processing (payment by credit or debit card via PayPal).

Payment by cash or check is preferred.

Payment is due at time of service.

Other Cleaning Services:
Deep Cleaning / Cleanout Services: $70 per labor hour + $0.49 + 3.49% payment processing fee
One-Time Cleaning Service (longer than one month between cleanings): $70 per labor hour + $0.49 + 3.49% payment processing fee

Cancellation Fee
Less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of the cleaning. Fee may be waived in the event of illness or emergency. Repeated cancellations without proper notice may cause us to drop you as a client. In the event your housecleaner arrives for a scheduled appointment and cannot access the home and cannot reach you, that will be considered a cancellation without proper notice.

Returned Check or Card Payment
Any check or card payment returned from your bank or card issuer will be assessed and additional fee of $35.

Non-Payment / Theft of Services
In the event that a customer refuses to pay for services provided, or if a returned payment is not resolved within 3 business days of the agreed upon delivery date, Caribou Cleaners will consider this an issue of non-payment and theft of services, and will seek legal action to secure payment. The customer will be assessed any legal fees and daily interest accrual in an event of non-payment / theft of services, in addition to any returned check or card payment fees, and the cost of the service, billed at the hourly rate.

Additional Information
Caribou Cleaners does not provide service on weekends. We may provide recurring service on certain holidays, and you should discuss any questions regarding the cleaning schedule with management. Any jobs requiring an extended work day beyond 8 hours, or services provided on a weekend or holiday will be billed at an overtime/weekend rate equal to 150% of the normal rate per labor hour.

A contract is not required for service, but hourly rates and other fees do apply.

Any jobs requiring extra or unusual supplies and/ or equipment will be billed additionally for these services. Any additional services not normally included in your housecleaning service will also be billed for additionally.

Tips are always appreciated but not required. Feel free to add your tip to your payment or leave cash in a marked envelope.

Payment is due in full at the time of service.

If a client owes a cancellation fee, returned check fee, or other payment, no further services will be scheduled until the payment is received in full.
